we have 2 childrens dance classes keep fit & step Whitstable active retirement meet here 2/3 a month weddings christenings dog training blind club 2 bridge clubs 2 yoga bingo 2 badminton teams short mat bowls, art class, dance class, local council meetings and we are used for a voting station.

Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE CANTERBURY CITY COUNCIL AREA AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. (B) TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE, IN CO-OPERATION WITH THE LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY A COMMUNITY CENTRE, FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED AND ENCOURAGED BY THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES.
