Activities - how the charity spends its money
The European Province of the Third Order, through groups, organises activities and publications, which reflect aspects of Franciscan Spirituality. The Province also seeks to sponsor educational opportunities for individuals from deprived parts of the Order to enable lay or ordained individuals to increase their own Franciscan knowledge which may then be shared with their home communities.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE SOCIETY OF SAINT FRANCIS IS TO BUILD A COMMUNITY OF THOSE WHO ACCEPT CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND MASTER, AND ARE DEDICATED TO HIM IN BODY AND SPIRIT. THEY SURRENDER THEIR LIVES TO HIM AND TO THE SERVICE OF HIS PEOPLE.
