Activities - how the charity spends its money
Sea Cadets units were created by communities wanting to give young people instruction on a naval theme. The unit is a member of the Sea Cadet Corps governed by the MSSC - the Marine Society & Sea Cadets. We aim to inspire young people to reach their potential by developing valuable, personal attributes like team working, independence and communication skills through nautical based adventure.

Charitable objects
The charitable purpose of the Unit (the Purpose) is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).
