PURPOSES OF THE PROMOTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF EDUCATION AT SHERBORNE SCHOOL FOR GIRLS, BY THE ESTABLISHING WITH THE INCOME, A PRIZE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE "WINIFRED SPOONER MEMORIAL PRIZE". THE TRUSTEES ARE TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT COURAGE, GENEROSITY OF MIND, ENTERPRISE AND INDEPENDENCE, AS WELL AS ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS, WHEN MAKING THE AWARD.
