TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF PUPILS ATTENDING OR WHO HAVE AT ANY TIME ATTENDED THE SHAFTESBURY SCHOOL IN THE COUNTY OF DORSET WITH A PREFERENCE FOR FORMER PUPILS OF THE SHAFTESBURY GRAMMAR SCHOOL AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.(FOR FULL DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 5 OF SCHEME OF 15TH OCTOBER 1986).
