Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: (1) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS (INCLUDING WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING EDUCATION IN NAUTICAL SKILLS ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES AND HISTORY); AND (2) TO PROVIDE IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FACILITIES FOR RECREATIONAL AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS WHO BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES ARE IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR SUCH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS; AND (3) TO PROMOTE THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE DIOCESE OF EXETER.
