Charitable objects
VOLUNTARY SCHOOLS. THE PROVISION OF SPECIAL BENEFITS FOR THE SCHOOL OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY. THE AWARD OF EXHIBITIONS AND MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TENABLE AT ANY SECONDARY SCHOOL, TRAINING COLLEGE FOR TEACHERS, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER INSTITUTION OF FURTHER EDUCATION. THE PROVISION OF ASSITANCE FOR ENTRY INTO A PROFESSION, TRADE OR CALLING. PROMOTING EDUCATION, INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING. BENEFICIARIES TO BE BOYS AND YOUNG MEN AND GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN, WHO HAVE NOT ATTAINED THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE ATTENDING OR ARE ABOUT TO ATTEND, OR HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS AT ANY TIME, ATTENDED EITHER OR BOTH OF THE SCHOOLS, WITH A PREFERENCE FOR THOSE RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF STEYNING.
