1. THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM THE HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS (HIV) OR ACQUIRED IMMUNE DEFICIENCY SYNDROME (AIDS) BY TH EPROVISION OF APPROPRIATE ADVICE, INFORMATION AND SUPPORT TO THOSE AFFECTED BY THE CONDITION; THOSE LIVING WITH OR POTENTIALLY AT RISK FROM HIV / AIDS, THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS, PARTNERS AND CARERS. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN ALL MATTERS WHICH ARE RELATED TO OR WHICH ARE THOUGHT TO BE RELATED TO, HIV AND AIDS INFECTION, THEIR CAUSES AND TREATMENT.
