(1) TO HELP AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED (2) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF YOUNG PERSONS AGED 5 TO 25 AND WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE BOROUGH OF MELTON MOWBRAY OR USING THE VENTURE HOUSE YOUTH CENTRE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS
