TO PROTECT, PRESERVE AND CONSERVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE PREHISTORIC BRONZE AGE BOATS KNOWN AS THE " FERRIBY BOATS " INCLUDING SUCH REMAINS AS MAY EXIST AND TO BUILD A RECONSTRUCTION OR REPLICA AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL ASPECTS RELATING TO THE FERRIBY BOATS, THEIR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, HISTORY, USE AND ALL OTHER RELEVANT MATTERS AND BY THE PROVISION OF AN EXHIBITION OR MUSEUM
