Charitable objects
(1) TO PROMOTE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SUNNI MUSLIMS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OVERSEAS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DECIDE INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING (A) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, THE AGED AND THE INFIRM (B) THE PROTECTION OF HEALTH (C) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION (D) THE PROVISION, IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE (WITHIN THE MEANING AND SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS OF THE RECREATIONAL CHARITIES ACT 1958) OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURETIME OCCUPATION OF SUNNI MUSLIM YOUNG PEOPLE; AND (E) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE SUNNI TRADITION OF THE ISLAMIC RELIGION (2) WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF SUB-CLAUSE (1) THE OBJECTS SHALL INCLUDE IN PARTICULAR (A) THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A JAMIA (ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE) FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE TRAINING AND RE-TRAINING OF ISLAMIC TEACHERS, IMAMS, SCHOLARS AND OTHER SUNNI MUSLIMS (B) THE SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF MOSQUES AND OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP OR STUDY (C) THE PUBLICATION OF JOURNALS ADDRESSING MATTERS OF RELIGIOUS SIGNIFICANCE TO SUNNI MUSLIMS INCLUDING THE CALCULATION OF THE ISLAMIC CALENDAR (PARTICULARLY IN THE MONTHS OF RAMADHAN AND ZULHAJJAH) NOTIFYING SUNNI MUSLIMS OF THE CORRECT TIMES FOR PRAYER AND WORSHIP (D) THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND PRIZES; AND (E) THE PROVISION OF MEDIATORY SERVICES TO SUNNI MUSLIMS ON MATRIMONIAL AND RELIGIOUS MATTERS TO FACILITATE DISPUTE RESOLUTION IN THE SUNNI MUSLIM TRADITION
