Charitable objects
4. The charity's objects ('Objects`) are specifically restricted to the following: (1) The advancement of agriculture by promoting and encouraging the art, skill and science of ploughing the land; (2) In furtherance of the Object at 4(1) above but not otherwise: (a) To promote an Annual British National Ploughing Championship to be held each year in Great Britain; (b) To organise and administer training sessions to those wishing to learn more about the art, skill and science of ploughing the land; (c) To co-operate with similar organisations in other countries in organising World, European and other international ploughing championships, and to provide official representatives for England on the Board of the World Ploughing Organisation, European ploughing organisations or other body or bodies organising International Championship Matches; (d) To provide facilities whereby the premier winners at local ploughing matches residing in Great Britain can, by virtue of their success, compete for the British National Ploughing Championship and by such means foster and maintain a high standard of ploughing skills; (e) To provide facilities for the England Champions, by virtue of their success, to compete for the World, European and other International Championship Matches and by such means foster and maintain a high standard of ploughing skills; and (f) To provide facilities for demonstration works and trade displays at the British National Ploughing Championships where possible.
