TO PROVIDE THE BEST AND MOST USEFUL EDUCATION POSSIBLE FOR THE ORPHAN DAUGHTERS OF CLERGYMEN OF ALL DENOMINATIONS, OF OFFICERS IN THE ROYAL NAVY, ARMY AND MARINES, AND THE FORMER EAST INDIA COMPANY'S NAVY AND MILITARY SERVICES, AND MEMBERS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE, AND TRAINING TO EARN THEIR LIVELIHOOD BY TEACHING. PROVIDING SIMILAR EDUCATION FOR OTHER PERSONS AT SUITABLE TERMS OF PAYMENT.
