THE PROMOTION OF, "CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION", AND THE BETTER TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITHIN THE BENEFICIAL AREA, IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE CONTINUING EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN MEDICINE OF DOCTORS, NURSES, MIDWIVES, WHO ARE WORKING IN THE AREA AND OTHER PERSONS CONCERNED WITH THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITHIN THE AREA. TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE RESEARCH; GRANT BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS; ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A LIBRARY, MUSEUM AND LABORATORIES, IN CONNEXION WITH THE ABOVE.
