1. A VOLUNTARY AIDED SCHOOL KNOWN AS THE CHIPPING SODBURY GRAMMAR SCHOOL; RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH; THE PROVISION OF SPECIAL BENEFITS OF A KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY FOR THE SCHOOL. 2. THE PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE FOR HIGHER EDUCATION BY MEANS OF EXHIBITIONS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, OR OTHER PLACE OF LEARNING APPROVED BY THE GOVERNORS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO PREPARED FOR, OR TO ENTER, A PROFESSION, TRADE OR CALLING. THE AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS OR BURSARIES TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO TRAVEL, WHETHER IN THE COUNTRY OR ABROAD, TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION; THE PROVISION, OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF, FACILITIES OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY, FOR RECREATION AND SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING FOR BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE RECEIVING SECONDARY OR FURTHER EDUCATION FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO STUDY MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS; AND OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF BENEFICIARIES; PREFERENCE TO BE GIVEN TO PERSONS OF EITHER SEX WHO HAVE NOT ATTAINED THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, WHO ARE ATTENDING OR HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS AT ANY TIME ATTENDED THE SCHOOL, AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
