(A) SUNDAY SCHOOL PURPOSES. (B) AWARDING TO BENEFICIARIES, EXHIBITIONS TENABLE AT ANY SECONDARY SCHOOL (WITH A PREFERENCE FOR THE CITY OF LONDON SCHOOL, AND THE CITY OF LONDON SCHOOL FOR GIRLS), TRAINING COLLEGE FOR TEACHERS, UNIVERSITIES OR OTHER INSTITUTION OF FURTHER (INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL) EDUCATION APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES, TO BE AWARDED UNDER RULES TO BE MADE BY THE TRUSTEES, INCLUDING RULES AS TO THE VALUE AND PERIOD OF TENURE OF THE EXHIBITIONS, AND THE QUALIFICATIONS AND METHOD OF ASCERTAINMENT AND SELECTION OF CANDIDATES; (C) PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, OUTFITS, CLOTHING, TOOLS, INSTRUMENTS OR BOOKS TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES WHILST AT OR ON LEAVING SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT TO PREPARE FOR, OR TO ASSIST THEIR ENTRY INTO, A PROFESSION TRADE OR CALLING; (D) OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF BENEFICIARIES. (BENEFICIARIES MEANS PERSONS UNDER 25 WHO OR WHOSE PARENTS ARE RESIDENT OR EMPLOYED IN THE CASTLE BAYNARD WARD OF THE CITY OF LONDON, OR IN THE FORMER COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX , OR WHO THEMSELVES ARE OR FORMERLY WERE IN FULL TIME EDUCATION AT ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT SIGNIFICANTLY CONNECTED WITH THE CORPORATION OF LONDON, WHO NEED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE).
