THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF MUSEUMS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND, THE CHANNEL ISLANDS AND THE ISLE OF MAN, SO FAR AS THE SAME IS A LAWFUL CHARITABLE PURPOSE AND SUBJECT THERETO AND IN DEFAULT THEREOF FOR SUCH LAWFUL CHARITABLE PURPOSE AS THE COUNCIL OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL DIRECT.
