Charitable objects
(1) TO PROMOTE INFORATION ON THE SCIENCE OF ELECTRONICS AND OTHER SCIENTIFIC SUBJECTS, BY LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS, EXAMINATIONS, BOOKS PAPERS, AND CORRESPONDENCE WITH PUBLIC BODIES AND INDIVIDUALS ALTERNATIVELY (2) TO ENCOURAGE THE STUDY OF THE ELECTRON AT REST OR IN MOTION, AND OTHER KINDRED SCIENTIFIC SUBJECTS AND TO CONSIDER ALL QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF ELECTRONICS, INCLUDING THE MODERN THEORY OF THE ELECTRON, ITS DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATIONS, AND TO PROMOTE IMPROVEMENTS AND FACILITIES FOR PRACTISING THE SCIENCE OF ELECTRONICS AND KINDRED SCIENCES. (3) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND USEFULNESS OF THE PROFESSION OF THE SCIENCE OF ELECTRONICS BY SETTING UP A HIGH STANDARD OF PROFESSIONAL AND GENERAL EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE.
