The trustees have charge of a collection of Chinese ivories which are held for the benefit of citizens of the UK. The trustees maintain and lend the ivories to appropriate museums and also purchase suitable items.The trustees are also to educate all interested people by contributing to exhibitions in any location and allowing and promoting publication of items in its keeping.
