Charitable objects
TO RECEIVE AND PRESERVE THE EMBROIDERY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NATION AND TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE OTHER ARTICLES SUITABLE FOR PUBLIC EXHIBITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EMBROIDERY WHICH IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES HAVE ARTISTIC MERIT OR EDUCATIONAL VALUE. (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 3 OF 1970 DEED). (B) TO EXHIBIT OR LEND FOR PUBLIC EXHIBITION THE ARTICLES (INCLUDING THE EMBROIDERY TO ANY GALLERY, MUSEUM EXHIBITION OR ORGANISATION. (C) TO ORGANISE AND SUPPORT LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS, RESEARCH OR SIMILAR ACTIVITIES CONNECTED WITH THE ARTICLES OR SUBJECTS ASSOCIATED THEREWITH. (D) TO UNDERTAKE AND ENCOURAGE THE PUBLICATION OR SALE OF BOOKS, PHOTOGRAPHS AND OTHER WORKS ABOUT THE ARTICLES AND SUBJECTS ASSOCIATED THEREWITH.
