SCHOLARSHIP TENABLE AT ANY RECOGNISED SCHOOL OR UNIVERSITY IN GREAT BRITAIN TO BE HELD EITHER BY A BOY EDUCATED AT LICENSED VICTUALLERS SCHOOL OR BY A SON OF ANY PERSON ENGAGED IN THE LICENSED VICTUALLERS OR INNHOLDERS BUSINESS PROVIDED THAT SUCH PERSON IS NOT EMPLOYED BY THE STATE OR ANY CORPORATION OR AUTHORITY OWNED BY THE STATE. ANY RESIDUE OF THE INCOME SHALL BE APPLIED FIRST TO EDUCATION, SECONDLY FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THIRDLY TO CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS.
