TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL HELP BY WAY OF SCHOLARSHIPS, TRAVEL GRANTS OR OTHERWISE TO MEDICAL OFFICERS, DENTAL OFFICERS AND NURSING OFFICERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA TO ENABLE THEM TO UNDERGO ADVANCED STUDY AND TRAINING IN THEIR RESPECTIVE PROFESSIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.
