Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: (A) THE ORGANISATION AND ADMINISTRATION OF ONE OR MORE HOLIDAYS FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS, SUCH HOLIDAYS TO TAKE PLACE WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM AT ANY SUCH PLACE OR PLACES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR DISCRETION MAY DETERMINE; (B) THE ORGANISATION AND ADMINISTRATION OF ONE OR MORE REUNION DAYS FOR PERSONS WHO ASSIST ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS IN PROVIDING CARE TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS ON HOLIDAYS ORGANISED BY THE CHARITY TO BE HELD AT ANY SUCH PLACE OR PLACES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR DISCRETION DETERMINE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS; (C) THE PURCHASE AND PROVISION OF SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL WELFARE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS; AND (D) GENERALLY TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO AND TO FURTHER THE WELFARE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS. NOTHING IN THIS DEED SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEES INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
