ACT is a voluntary non-profit making organisation founded in 1983 and becoming a registered charity in 1984. ACT aims to compliment the statutory provisions of the health and community services by providing additional necessary support, encouragement, practical advice and items of medical equipment (small hire fee) to parents caring for children with a tracheostomy.
