TO WORK TOWARDS THE ELIMINATION OF THE TREATMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY LESS FAVOURABLY THAN OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY ON GROUNDS OF COLOUR, RACE, NATIONALITY OR NATIONAL ORGINS AND TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIOS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS GENERALLY BY DISSEMINATION EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL TO SCHOOLS AND OTHERS PARICULARLY RELATING TO DAMAGING DISTORTION AND STEROTYPING OF BLACK PEOPLE AS INFERIOR TO OTHERS IN BOOKS FOR CHILDREN AND AS ANCILLARY TO THE FOREGOING BUT NOT OTHERWISE THE TRUSTEES MAY ACQAINT NATIONAL AND LOCAL ORGANISATIONS WITH THE NEEDS OF ALL CLUTURES IN CONTEMPORARY BRITAIN.
