FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE AND WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THEGENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING FOR THE DAVANCEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF ELECTRONICS AND AFFORDING RECOGNITION OF ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SAID SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN PARTICULAR BY (1) MAKING AWARDS AND GIVING PRIZES TO PERSONS IN FULL-TIME EDUCATION WHO DESIGN AND BUILD ITEMS WITH USEFUL PRACTICAL APPLICATION AND (2) PROMOTING A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY AMONGST STUDENTS.
