(A) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF HEARING-IMPAIRED CHILDREN THROUGH THE USE OF THEIR RESIDUAL HEARING CAPACITY & THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NATURALLY ACQUIRED SPOKEN LANGUAGE IN SUCH HEARING-IMPAIRED CHILDREN (B) TO ADVANCE BY RESEARCH & THE EDUCATION OF TEACHERS, PARENTS AND OTHERS INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEARING-IMPAIRED CHILDREN BY TRAINING AND TEACHING THEM THE VARIOUS TECHNIQUES INVOLVED IN THE AUDITORY ACQUISITION OF SPOKEN LANGUAGE BY SUCH HEARING-IMPAIRED CHILDREN. (C) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF HEARING-IMPAIRED PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR IN THE FILED OF FURTHER AND HIGHER EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND TO PROMOTE PUBLIC EDUCATION ABOUT THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE IN THOSE AREAS
