Charitable objects

(1) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PATIENTS WHO HAVE UNDERGONE TRACHEOTOMY (2) TO RELIEVE SUFFERING AND DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS (3) TO PROMOTE OR ASSIST IN PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO THE PREVENTION OF THE CONDITIONS GIVING RISE TO THE NECESSITY OF HAVING A TRACHEOTOMY PERFORMED AND THE PUBLICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH (4) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES AND/OR THE EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR THE TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION OF TRACHEOTOMY PATIENTS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WHO ARE PERMANENTLY DEPENDANT ON VENTILATORS THAT IS TO SAY, APPARATUS PROVIDING MECHANICALLY ASSISTED RESPIRATION.
