TO RELIEVE POVERTY IN THE THIRD WORLD BY ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION PROGRAMME WITHIN THE UK FARMING COMMUNITY, BY PROMOTING AWARENESS OF THE PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AND THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN EUROPEAN AND THIRD WORLD AGRICULTURE AND BY FOSTERING LINKS WITH LIKE MINDED FARMERS AND FARMING GROUPS THROUGH THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY.
