(1) TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY FOR THE MUTUAL BENEFIT OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND HONG KONG COMMUNITIES; (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND HONG KONG, AND IN PARTICULAR TO ADVANCE, DEVELOP, IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN THE EDUCATION OF THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND HONG KONG IN THE SCIENCES, ARTS, LITERATURE, MUSIC, HISTORY, ECONOMICS, PHILOSOPHY, CULTURE, WAY OF LIFE AND OTHER RECOGNISED SUBJECTS OF STUDY OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND HONG KONG.
