Charitable objects
THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND THE INCOME THEREOF IN TRUST TO APPLY THE SAME BOTH AS TO CAPITAL AND INCOME. (1) FOR THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF HEART DISEASE ON TERMS THAT THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE PUBLISHED. (2) FOR THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT RESEARCH AND TRAVEL GRANTS FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH INTO HEART DISEASE OF ALL KINDS. (3) FOR THE PROMOTION OR DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF THE SCIENCE OF CARDIOLOGY AND CARDIAC SURGERY IN ALL ITS BRANCHES. FOR FURTHER DETAILS OF OBJECTS SEE CLAUSE 3 ABOVE.
