FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT DIRECTLY TO PROMOTE THE EFFECTIVE WORK OF HOSPITALS AND OTHER CHARITIES ESTABLISHED FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS BY PROMOTING HIGH STANDARDS OF PATIENT CARE AND BY TEACHING AND PROVIDING FOR THE DIRECT APPLICATION BY THOSE ENGAGED IN THE PROFESSIONS OF NURSING AND MEDICINE AND OTHERS ENGAGED IN CARING FOR PATIENTS ("CARERS") OF PROVEN AND EFFECTIVE SKILLS DRAWN FROM HOLISTIC HEALING TECHNIQUES INCLUDING THERAPEUTIC TOUCH AS DESCRIBED BY DOLORES KRIEGER.
