Activities - how the charity spends its money
Interplast UK engages in medical missions serving in developing countries and provides free reconstructive surgery for the underprivileged. This includes treating congenital abnormalities in children, eg cleft lip and/or palate, revision of scars following burns and restoring function in the case of hand injuries. Teams total 5-15 members (surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses).
