TO APPLY THE TRUST FUND TO OR FOR SUCH CHARITIES OR CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC RESEARCH INTO AND EDUCATION ABOUT THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF ILLNESS SICKNESS DISABILITY HANDICAP INFIRMITY AND DISEASE AND ESPECIALLY UPPER LIMB DISABILITY AND DISEASE PROVIDED THAT THE RESULTS OF ANY RESEARCH ARE PUBLISHED
