TO PAY THE ANNUAL INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND TO THE SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE SCHOOL") WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER OXFORD ROAD MANCHESTER M13 9PL AT SUCH TIME TO COINCIDE WITH AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF :- (1) AWARDS TO BE MADE AT THE END OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR TO ANY ONE OR MORE STUDENTS WHO ARE STUDYING ARCHITECTURE IN THE SCHOOL AS SHALL IN THE OPINION OF THE PROFESSOR AND DIRECTOR FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE SCHOOL AND IN HIS ABSOLUTE DISCRETION BE ADJUDGED TO HAVE ATTAINED HIGH MERIT AND ACHIEVEMENT UPON THE RESULT OF THE SCHOOL'S ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS IN ANY ONE YEAR AND WHO IS ALSO CONSIDERED BY THE PROFESSOR AND DIRECTOR TO BE A FIT AND PROPER PERSON OR PERSONS TO RECEIVE ANY SUCH AWARD .
