TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROMOTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE STUDY OF NORTH AFRICA, THAT IS TO SAY THE COUNTRIES OF MAURITANIA, MOROCCO, ALGERIA, TUNISIA, LIBYA, EGYPT AND SUDAN AND SURROUNDING REGIONS, CULTURES AND OF ITS HISTORICAL, POLITICAL, SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, ANTHROPOLOGICAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL ASPECTS.
