Presentations about canal history are given to local bodies. Currently developing a Park'nGlide scheme to carry visitors from a car park to Taunton town centre by water using electric boats

A) TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST IN THE RENOVATING, CONSERVATION AND BEST LONG-TERM MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF ALL SECTIONS OF THE GRAND WESTERN CANAL BETWEEN TIVERTON, DEVON AND TAUNTON, SOMERSET. B)1) TO PROMOTE USE OF THE CANAL AS AN AMENITY AND FOR WATER-RELATED AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES BY AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. B)2) TO PROMOTE AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY STRUCTURE AND USE OF THE CANAL IN PARTICULAR AND OF CANALS AND INLAND WATERWAYS GENERALLY. B)3) TO PROMOTE AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN CARE FOR THE DIVERSE FLORA AND FAUNA OF THE CANAL IN PARTICULAR AND OF CANALS AND INLAND WATERWAYS GENERALLY.
