THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS OF RUSSIA AND FORMER SOVIET REPUBLICS IN PARTICULAR BY: (1) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS, RECITALS, PERFORMANCES, EXHIBITIONS, LECTURES, FILMS AND OTHER EVENTS; (2) ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG TALENTED ARTISTS FROM RUSSIA AND THE FORMER SOVIET REPUBLICS WHO ARE IN NEED; AND (3) PUBLISHING OR ASSISTING IN THE PUBLICATION OF BOOKS, JOURNALS, RECORDINGS, FILMS, VIDEOS AND OTHER MATERIAL. (B) THE PROMOTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF THE PRESERVATION (INCLUDING REPAIR AND RESTORATION) OF BUILDINGS, WORKS OF ART, BOOKS AND OTHER ARTEFACTS OF PARTICULAR BEAUTY OR HISTORICAL OR ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST.
