Activities - how the charity spends its money
The funding of medical research related to the survivorship of head and neck cancer. Aim is to publish he results of this in peer reviewed journals. Lyons et al. (Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys. 2012 Mar 15;82(4):1479-84). Presently the charity is helping to fund a multicentre trial into the influence of genotype on swallowing problems after radiotherapy to the head and neck.
