(1) AWARDING PRIZES AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO:- (A) CHILDREN OF LIVERYMEN AND FREEMEN OF THE COMPANY STUDYING FOR A DEGREE OR CARRYING OUT FURTHER EDUCATION OR RESEARCH AT A UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR OVERSEAS; (B) STUDENTS STUDYING OR CARRYING OUT RESEARCH IN A SUBJECT RELATED TO THE TRADES OF THE STATIONERS' AND NEWSPAPER MAKERS' GUILD AT A UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. (2) IN PROVIDING FUNDS FOR PRIZES TO BE AWARDED THROUGH APPROPRIATE EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS CONNECTED WITH THE CITY OF LONDON OR THE TRADES OF THE GUILD.
