The charity is dedicated to the memory of St Elizabeth the New Martyr of Russia and seeks to support, maintain, repair and reconstruct the buildings and churches of the Saints Martha and Mary Convent of Mercy, which the saint founded in Moscow during her life-time. The charity supports other communities which live by the Rule of St Elizabeth the New Martyr or projects which keep her memory alive.

(1) TO MAINTAIN, REPAIR, RESTORE, PRESERVE, IMPROVE, BEAUTIFY AD RECONSTRUCT THE CHURCHES DEDICATED TO SAINTS MARTHA AND MARY AND THE PROTECTION OF THE MOTHER OF GOD, THEIR MONUMENTS, FIXTURES, FURNITURE, STAINED GLASS, ORNAMENTS AND OTHER CHATTELS, THEIR CHURCH YARD AND ALL OTHER BUILDINGS WHICH ARE UNDER THE JURISDICTION, CONTROL OR OWNERSHIP OF THE SAINTS MARTHA AND MARY CONVENT OF MERCY IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA. (2) TO ADVANCE THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE SISTERS OF THE SAINTS MARTHA AND MARY CONVENT OF MERCY IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA. (3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF A MUSEUM, IN RUSSIA OR ELSEWHERE, DEDICATED TO THE LIFE OF GRAND DUCHESS ELIZABETH FEODROVNA, UNDERTAKING RESEARCH INTO HER LIFE AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
