Educational and cultural activities to enhance the relationship between the UK and Japan. We provide resources and advice to schools teaching about Japan or wishing to make long-term links with schools in Japan. A small grants scheme enables educational and grassroots organisations to put on Japan-related programmes. We also have a wide ranging programme of events for members and non-members alike

Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE LEARNING AND ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE SUBJECT OF AND WITH REGARD TO JAPAN; (B) TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF JAPAN AND ITS PEOPLE IN ALL THEIR ASPECTS, TRADITIONAL AND MODERN, AND TO MAKE THE RESULTS OF SUCH STUDY MORE ACCESSIBLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC; (C) TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF BRITAIN AND ITS CULTURE BY JAPANESE PEOPLE AND TO FURTHER EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES BETWEEN BRITAIN AND JAPAN.
