TO RELIEVE NEED AMONG AND ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE UK, IN PARTICULAR, LONDON, BY THE PROVISION OF:- (A) RAISING THE STANDARDS OF EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING OF PEOPLE WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED OR WHO THOSE WHO ARE WITHOUT VOCATIONAL SKILLS OR THOSE WHO ARE OTHERWISE IN NEED OF SUCH EDUCATION AND TRAINING. (B) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR SUCH TRAINING WITH THE VIEW OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE IN NEED.
