Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE THE MILITARY EFFICIENCY OF, AND FOSTER ESPRIT DE CORPS AND COMRADESHIP IN, UNITS OF THE REGULAR AND RESERVE FORCES AND THEIR ASSOCIATED BANDS LOCATED WITHIN, OR HAVING A DIRECT CONNECTION WITH, THE AREA OF BENEFIT. 2) TO MAKE GRANTS TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF UNITS OF THE CADET SERVICES (THE SEA CADET CORPS, THE ARMY CADET FORCE, THE COMBINED CADET FORCE, AND THE AIR TRAINING CORPS) LOCATED WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. 3) TO RELIEVE, EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY, PEOPLE WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHICH ARE OR HAVE BEEN MEMBERS OF THOSE UNITS OR CADET SERVICES, OR THEIR DEPENDANTS WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. 4) TO SUPPORT OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHICH FURTHER THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
