TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN THROUGH PROVIDING, MAINTAINING AND EQUIPPING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND EQUIPPING OF NURSERY AND OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE GAMBIA WEST AFRICA AND IN SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE PROVIDED THAT IN SO DOING THE TRUSTEES SHALL NOT RELIEVE ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE GAMBIA WEST AFRICA OF ANY OF ITS STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS IN ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN
