TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE MISUSE AND THEREBY PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION) BY PROVIDING:- (A) EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND ADVICE ABOUT THE USE AND MISUSE OF ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS; (B) COUNSELLING, SUPPORT AND REHABILITATION FOR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE MISUSE; AND (C) TRAINING FOR THOSE WHO ENCOUNTER ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE MISUSE IN THEIR WORK.
