MEMORANDUM AND ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED 3RD JULY 1997
Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT AND NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "THE AREA OF BENEFIT") IN PARTICULAR THOSE OF INDIAN ORIGIN, BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS (B) TO ESTABLISH OR TO SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE OR CENTRES AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND VOLUNTARY BODIES IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE OR CENTRES FOR THE ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY. (C) TO PROMOTE GOOD RACE RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF ALL GROUPS WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT (D) TO DO SUCH OTHER LAWFUL THINGS AS MAY BE DEEMED CHARITABLE WITHIN ENGLAND AND WALES.
