[2] FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE ISLE OF SHEPPEY, TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AND RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE ON THE ISLAND.
