(1) TO ADVANCE AND FURTHER THE THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH AUTISM AND OTHER SEVERE COMMUNICATION DISORDERS OR DIFFICULTIES WITH LANGUAGE (2) TO OFFER A HIGH LEVEL OF SUPPORT TO SUCH YOUNG PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN WORK TOWARDS A MORE INDEPENDENT LIFE (3) TO ARRANGE FOR SUCH YOUNG PEOPLE TO BE PLACED IN A WORK ENVIRONMENT TO GAIN EXPERIENCE OF EMPLOYMENT AND TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SUCH PERSONS WHEN IN A WORK ENVIRONMENT(4) TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND ASSISTANCE TO YOUNG PEOPLE WITH COMMUNICATION DISORDERS OR DIFFICULTIES ON CHOICES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN EDUCATION TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT AND TO PLACE SUCH PERSONS WITH EMPLOYERS TRAINERS AND EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND PROVIDE CONTINUING SUPPORT TO THOSE PERSONS (5) TO RAISE AWARENESS OF COMMUNICATION DISORDERS OR DIFFICULTIES AMONGST THE GENERAL PUBLIC (6) GENERALLY TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF OTHER CHARITIES
