FOR THE BENEFIT OF BANGLADESHI WOMEN AND CHILDREN RESIDENT IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD (THE AREA OF BENEFIT) : 1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN BY THE PROVISION OF SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SCHOOLS, VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND MOTHER TONGUE TEACHING. 2. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF LEGAL ADVICE TO PERSONS UNABLE TO AFFORD SOLICITORS FEES AND THE PROVISION OF A TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION SERVICE TO ENABLE PEOPLE TO ACCESS LOCAL STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY SOCIAL SERVICES. 3. TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF THE AGED IN ANY MANNER WHICH IS DEEMED TO BE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES. 4. TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR BANGLADESHI WOMEN IN ENFIELD WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. 5. THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF GOOD PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF MENTAL ILLNESS BY THE PROVISION OF HEALTH CLASSES AND COUNSELLING FOR WOMEN.
